Canoeing WA is Western Australia’s State association for paddling. Their duties include overseeing the coordination of WA’s Canoe/Kayak Clubs, and the disciplines of Flatwater, Marathon, Slalom, Freestyle, Downriver and Canoe Polo.
The Association also organises a number of major paddling events including the Summer Dash, Paddle Challenge and Bay 2 Beach.

The ICF is the peak body for Canoe Sports. It offers a number of support services to National Organisations and is currently focussing on the growth of our sport in less developed nations.
Bayswater Paddlesports Club

Bayswater Paddlesports Club is WA’s premier sprint club. Formerly Sorrento Kayak Club, its relocation to AP Hinds reserve in Bayswater has brought about the update of this club.
The new clubroom facility will be completed by the end of 2008.

Ascot Kayak Club is one the largest canoe clubs in Australia. The club is very fortunate to have a new club premises at Garvey Park, Redcliffe. As with every club in Perth, they are welcoming new members with open arms.

Swan Canoe Club is one of Perth’s longest standing clubs. Boasting arguably the most picturesque outlook of any club in Australia, Swan Canoe Club is nestled beneath the cliffs of Mosman Bay. The club offers a number of recreational trips and a very healthy junior slalom program.

WAIS offers support to a number of our up-and-coming and top flatwater and slalom paddlers. The support is offered with the aim of assisting athletes with both coaching and scientific support, as well as financial assistance to enable them to meet the costs of competition.
