Precision Paddling Australia is owned and operated by Ty Stedman, an experienced all-round paddler from Perth. With the assistance of Athletes and Coaches such as Jesse Phillips, Precision Paddling has developed into the most comprehensive coaching provider in Western Australia. Our audience reaches beyond our boundaries with visits from the United States, United Kindgdom, South Africa, Europe, South-East Asia and New Zealand.

Ty Stedman

Ty's experience includes; being a 3 year member of the WAIS Sprint Kayak Squad, multiple Avon Descent placings and numerous State medals in a number of paddling disciplines. He is also former President and Secretary of the Bayswater Paddlesports Club, and also an active surf paddler.
He is exposed to a number of paddling contexts and levels from which he draws his wealth of experience.

This experience, in addition to his University degree in Human Movement and Graduate Diploma is Physical Education, have equipped Ty with the expertise to assist all WA paddlers in achieving their paddling goals.

Jesse Phillips

Jesse Phillips has been assisting Precision Paddling for a number of years now. He has represented Australia for a number of years as a Junior, U23 and Senior Team member.
His current focus is on the K2 200m event, where along with Steve Bird, hope to attain Olympic selection for the 2012 London Olympics.

He also works for Canoeing WA as a Development Officer and studies at Murdoch University.
A passion for the sport and its development, along with his communication and technical skills make Jesse the perfect partner to the Precision Paddling team.
