Super Camp
This overnight training camp offers the ideal mix of on and off-water learning, as well as being a fantastic social event.
The intended itinerary will include some moving water skills work around the toodyay avon region, self-rescue techniques, evening Workshop, followed by a Ti-Tree to posselts/superchutes training run.
The Camp will also address all requirements for the competency assessment.
Dates: TBA 2x June 2x July (Register your interest)
Location: Private Property (West Toodyay)
Cost: TBC ~$200
Competency Assessments
These assessment are likely to take place at bells rapids, however if the level is insufficient we will make a day trip to the murray river to conduct assessments. We view this as ensuring a much more effective and fair assessment compared to making a hap-hazard assessment in water that is below minimum levels.
Dates: TBA - Register your interest - water dependent
Cost: $30
Whitewater Training
instead of leading you down a series of rapids which change in resemblance at every small change in river height - we would prefer to spend time teaching you the theory and skills set that will better allow you to negotiate the rapids that you will encounter during the race.
These training runs will take place between 1. Walyunga and Bells rapids, and through 2. The Day 1 Ti trees
There will be minimum skill requirements to participate - email us for more info
Other runs may be arranged by appointment.
Dates: TBA - Register your interest - water dependent
Cost: $110 for Walyunga to Bells half day
$125 for Day 1 Ti Trees full day
